As your Wedding Coordinator, what would we do for you?

Well, it needs to be professional, respectable and legal, and, yes, we do have our boundaries, but we do pretty much everything.

We will listen to you, get along with your vendors, track your budget, prepare your time line, help plan your decor and whatever else you need.   That’s why we are in business: To help you!

Chances are that you have been to a wedding.

You have seen the ceremony, the bride’s and bridesmaids’ dresses, what the men are wearing, the decorations, the flowers, the cake, heard the music and you have cast your ballot for: “I love it,” “Didn’t really love it,” and “Oh, heck no!”

You have bought stacks of wedding magazines and surfed the internet until your eyes can no longer focus.

And you still aren’t finished. Where exactly should you start? Which vendors can you trust? How do you make all of your ideas look the way you want with your budget? What budget? What other ideas are out there that are totally you and will wow your guests? Who will be your extra set of hands on your wedding day putting all the pieces together while you are busy getting married?!?

We can answer all of these questions for you and more! We have coordinated far more weddings and parties than you could imagine and we have the know-how to make your wedding the day that you have always dreamed it would be.

I just want a day-of wedding coordinator who can help out for the day. Can you just show up on the day-of our wedding to coordinate all of our vendors and make sure everything looks the way we want it?

Ah.  The mythical “day-of” wedding coordinator.  A real professional would never offer this service and if they do, they are either inexperienced or pulling the ol’ “bait and switch.”  Let me explain:

If your “Day-of Coordinator” shows up on the day of your wedding with only your list of what to do, I could tell you one hundred things that could go very wrong and your day-of coordinator will have no idea that it is wrong or how to fix it without much prep work.  She would be wandering around, pretty much clueless, wondering where exactly everything goes (because she hasn’t walked your venue) or finding out that things just don’t fit.  She may learn of site rules that your location has which conflict with your design.  Your vendors may need directions or information that she would not be able to really help with because she hasn’t met you before and doesn’t really know what you want.

Day-of only wedding coordination is akin to jumping out of a plane without a parachute.  Who in their right mind would do that?  We would never gamble on your most precious of days!  You shouldn’t either!  You need someone who can show up on the day of your event who is knowledgeable; who knows your vendors; who has a working relationship with your vendors so everyone works together smoothly; who has her own time line based on her event experience; and who is ready to solve any problem so she can minimize the chances of having one at all.  Even more important, who knows what YOU want!

This is why we offer a Month-of Coordination package.  This way, we can do all the above and be prepared for anything that comes up.  Now that sounds more like what you are really looking for, right?  Of course it does!

When should I call to book you as my Wedding Coordinator?

The best time to find the perfect coordinator for you is right after you say, “Yes!” Before you book your location, before you send out invitations, before you buy your wedding dress, you should call us! That’s right, I said, it, before you buy your wedding dress! “Why is that,” you ask? Well, as a bride, what if you see the “perfect” dress and it is a lovely satin ball gown with layers and layers and you feel like a queen in it. Or, as a groom, you decide that you want a formal, wool tuxedo. And you decide to get married in August. In Palm Springs. In the 110 degree heat and it rains that day and there is even higher humidity. Would you feel like a king or queen if you were hyperventilating and passed out due to heat stroke? Yea. We don’t think so either. So call us to give you tips and advice and even help you shop.
